Jim Grossmann

Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer Jim Grossmann was born in Minnesota where he grew upon a farm. He was active in sports, 4H, and the church youth group. He became interested in electronics and radio broadcasting in high school. After high school Jim earned his first class FCC license from St. Paul TVI. The Air Force brought Jim to Florida when he served 4 years at Cape Canaveral, FL.
He has worked in radio engineering since 1978 and retired from communications at the Kennedy Space Center after 25 yrs. Married with 5 grandchildren, Jim and his wife attend Christ Community Church in Titusville. He continuing to work in radio in communication and enjoys volunteer work. “Love being part of WCIF.”
